Psychological Testing at Mind Detox Centre

Clear answers start with the right assessment

Is it anxiety or ADHD? A learning disability or low motivation? Normal forgetfulness or early memory decline? Guessing leads to the wrong treatment. Psychological tests are standardised, scientifically validated tools that measure intelligence, personality, emotions, memory, attention and brain functioning, comparing results with established norms. At Mind Detox Centre, every test is administered, scored and interpreted by an RCI-registered clinical psychologist, Dr. Rabya Umman.

Types of psychological tests

Personality Tests

Personality tests help us understand how a person thinks, feels, relates to others and copes with stress — including feelings they…

Benefits of psychological testing

  • Accurate diagnosis — separates conditions that look similar (e.g. ADHD vs anxiety, depression vs early dementia)
  • Finds the root cause of problems at school, work or in relationships
  • Personalised treatment — therapy is planned around your actual strengths and difficulties
  • Objective baseline to measure progress over time
  • Official documentation for disability certification, school and board-exam accommodations, and referrals
  • Self-understanding — many people find it helpful simply to understand how their mind works

Our testing process

  1. Consultation — we understand the concern and recommend only the tests that are needed.
  2. Preparation — simple instructions (rest well, bring glasses or hearing aids, previous reports).
  3. Testing session — in a calm, private room; children are given breaks and made comfortable.
  4. Scoring and interpretation — by a qualified clinical psychologist using standard norms.
  5. Written report — clear findings and recommendations.
  6. Feedback session — results explained in simple language, with next steps.
