ASSIST — Alcohol, Smoking and Substance Involvement Screening Test

What it is
A World Health Organization (WHO) screening questionnaire.
What it measures
Use and risk level (low, moderate, high) for tobacco, alcohol, cannabis, opioids, sedatives, stimulants and other substances.
Who it’s for
Adults and older adolescents concerned about substance use.

FAQs — Psychological testing

Do I need all these tests?

No. After a consultation, Dr. Rabya recommends only the tests that are needed to answer your specific question.

Are the results confidential?

Yes. Reports are shared only with you (or a child's parents/guardians) and with others only with your written consent.

Can tests be done online?

Most standardised tests must be done in person for accuracy; some screening scales can be done online.

Will I get a written report?

Yes. You receive a written report and a feedback session explaining the results and next steps.

How should my child prepare?

A good night's sleep, a light meal, and any glasses, hearing aids or previous school and medical reports.
